Delta’s AIDEN Robot Expands Community Delivery and Monitoring Capabilities in Singapore

Technology is most impactful when it takes over routine tasks, freeing people to focus on work that matters. At the Lions Befrienders Bendemeer office, Delta Electronics Singapore’s AIDEN robot has now been fully deployed across three residential blocks, marking its official rollout within a live community environment.

Designed as a multi-functional autonomous robot that integrates monitoring capabilities, delivery functions and interactive engagement features, AIDEN is built to navigate complex indoor environments independently. It moves through corridors, takes elevators on its own and travels between floors without human assistance. This operational autonomy makes it adaptable to a wide range of environments, including commercial buildings, offices, healthcare institutions and residential communities.

Delta's AIDEN robot is fully deployed at the Bendemeer neighbourhood.

At Bendemeer, AIDEN performs autonomous deliveries across three blocks, serving significantly more residents than before. Previously, volunteers or staff accompanied deliveries floor by floor. Today, the robot completes the entire journey independently. Upon arrival, residents are notified and can retrieve their meals securely from designated compartments. The process is simple, efficient and designed for ease of use.

Beyond delivery, AIDEN’s built-in monitoring and navigation systems enhance visibility and operational efficiency within the premises. Its deployment demonstrates how robotics can complement human roles rather than replace them. By managing routine logistical tasks, AIDEN enables caregivers and volunteers to focus on meaningful interactions such as companionship, wellness support and community engagement.

The Bendemeer rollout represents a practical extension of smart building capabilities into everyday residential settings. As Singapore continues to strengthen community infrastructure in response to demographic shifts, scalable autonomous solutions will play an increasingly important role. AIDEN shows how robotics can operate reliably in dense urban environments without extensive infrastructure modifications.

Looking ahead, Delta Electronics Singapore continues to enhance AIDEN’s capabilities, including expanded surveillance, security support, last-mile delivery functions and interactive engagement features. As the platform evolves, it reflects Delta’s broader commitment to applying intelligent automation in ways that improve operational efficiency while strengthening community ecosystems.
