Delta Electronics Recognised for Green Initiatives at 2026 Sustainability Impact Awards
Delta Electronics has received the Special Recognition Award (Large Enterprises) at the 2026 Sustainability Impact Awards, recognizing the company’s ongoing efforts in advancing measurable sustainability outcomes across its global operations, value chain and local communities.
Organized by The Business Times and UOB, the Sustainability Impact Awards celebrate organizations for their contributions to sustainable business practices and positive environmental and social impact.
Delta’s achievements are supported by data-driven measures across its operations and value chain, from reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing renewable electricity use to improving the energy efficiency of its products, strengthening supplier practices and supporting environmental initiatives in local communities.

Attaining tangible results in emissions reduction and energy efficiency
Delta has set a long-term commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, supported by science-based targets aligned with a 1.5°C pathway. In 2024, Delta reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 53.6% from its 2021 baseline, while renewable electricity accounted for 84% of electricity use across its global operations.
The company is continuing to work toward a 90% reduction in absolute emissions by 2030 and 100% renewable electricity across its global operations by 2030.
Beyond its own operations, Delta extends its sustainability impact through energy-efficient products and solutions. In 2024, 12 products achieved independently assured energy-saving and avoided-emissions results, helping customers and downstream value chains reduce their environmental impact.
Strengthening sustainability across the supply chain and within communities
Delta also works with suppliers to strengthen sustainability capabilities across its value chain. In 2024, 401 suppliers participated in ESG training programs, covering areas including greenhouse gas inventories, energy conservation and carbon reduction. In addition, 66% of key suppliers had committed to carbon reduction, while 33% had obtained ISO 14064 greenhouse gas inventory certification.
Furthermore, Delta’s sustainability efforts include community outreach and initiatives that support environmental conservation. In Singapore, Delta collaborated with NParks on the 100K Corals Initiative, contributing technology solutions and volunteer support to strengthen environmental resilience. Over on St John’s Island, Delta’s Smart Coral Aquaculture System works to maintain optimal conditions and water circulation within the tanks.
Embedding sustainable into long-term business strategy
Delta’s sustainability approach is supported by board-level oversight, science-based targets and mechanisms such as internal carbon pricing, which integrate sustainability considerations into operational and investment decisions. The company also aligns its climate and nature-related disclosures with internationally recognized frameworks.
Looking ahead, Delta will continue to advance its 2030 renewable energy and emissions reduction targets while expanding collaboration across its value chain and local communities. These efforts form part of Delta’s broader commitment to developing innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow.
