Delta Electronics Singapore’s Year of Innovation and Impact

As 2025 comes to a close, Delta Electronics Singapore reflects on a year shaped by meaningful partnerships, innovation across our research groups, and continued commitment to community and environmental stewardship. This year, we strengthened our role in advancing smart, sustainable technologies while deepening collaborations with industry, academia, and society.

Advancing Research and Innovation

Firstly, Delta’s research departments continued to push boundaries across multiple domains. The R&D team, now operating as its own New Business Development group, made strong progress this year with AIDEN, our robotics initiative driving next-generation innovation. The Life Sciences team advanced its precision technologies and successfully developed Nucleic Acid Extraction kits (DNA/RNA) for commercialization. Meanwhile, the Silicon Photonics group achieved key milestones in high-performance photonics packaging and integration, strengthening Delta’s capabilities in next-generation connectivity.

These efforts reflect our long-term commitment to investing in breakthrough research that supports Singapore’s innovation ecosystem and Delta’s global technology leadership.

Deepening Partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning

Delta Electronics Singapore and the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) at NUS
formalised the new partnership at CDE Industry Day 2025.

Collaboration remained a central theme in 2025 as we continued to work closely with Singapore’s leading Institutes of Higher Learning.

With Ngee Ann Polytechnic, we strengthened talent development initiatives and technical collaborations. At Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), we welcomed more student attachments under the MDAIE programme and continued supporting Capstone Projects. Our senior leader was also invited to join SUTD’s C-Suites in Residence programme to mentor students and share industry perspectives. We further invested in young talent through STEAMunity, where students from diverse schools collaborated on community-focused projects with hands-on guidance from Delta’s trained mentors.

Our long-standing partnership with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) through the Delta–NTU Corporate Laboratory continued to yield advancements in energy efficiency, smart manufacturing, and AI-driven green technologies. We also built new momentum with the National University of Singapore (NUS), expanding collaboration through the Silicon Photonics MOU, that brings industry and academia together to solve emerging data center challenges.

Beyond technical innovation, Delta also contributed to Singapore’s design community through DesignSingapore, where our leaders supported the national Masterplan and served as judges for scholarship programmes to cultivate the next generation of creative talent.

Working Closely with Industry Partners

Strong industry collaborations were another highlight of 2025.

Delta worked with local SMEs to advance solutions that support national digitalisation and sustainability objectives. Our active collaborations with Meinhardt Singapore and EXEO Global demonstrated our focus on co-developing smart building and infrastructure technologies for the future.

We also continued strengthening ties with system integrators who play a key role in implementing Delta’s solutions across buildings, factories, and city systems.

Change to Creating Positive Impact Through ESG Initiatives

Delta’s contribution to the #OneMillionTreesSG movement.

  • Delta continued to invest in meaningful community programmes that improve lives and support environmental restoration.
  • Our Home Refresh initiative helped families create safer and more comfortable living spaces.
  • The 100K Corals Initiative with NParks contributed to marine biodiversity restoration and supported broader national conservation goals.
  • At our Kallang Junction office, the $1 veggie initiative engaged employees in giving back to the community through micro-donations and healthy eating.
  • Staff well-being remained a priority, with our massage for wellness programme promoting health and balance in the workplace.
  • Delta employees also participated in the NParks One Million Trees movement, reinforcing our commitment to climate resilience and greener urban spaces.

Looking Ahead

This year has been marked by collaboration, growth, and shared purpose. Whether through our research breakthroughs, education partnerships, industry alliances, or community initiatives, Delta Singapore continues to work alongside partners who believe in building a smarter and more sustainable world.

As we look to 2026, Delta remains committed to driving innovation that benefits people, industries, and the planet.
