Delta Electronics Solutions Day 2025 in Malaysia Showcases Digital Transformation for Sustainable Industries

How can Malaysia’s industries cut carbon, scale smarter, and stay resilient in today’s digital era?

At Delta Electronics’ inaugural Solutions Day 2025: Malaysia Edition, industry experts and panellists took on this question, sharing insights on how digital transformation, building automation, and clean energy innovations can drive the nation’s low-carbon, future-ready economy. With over 120 leaders and consultants in attendance, the event spotlighted practical ideas and solutions shaping Malaysia’s sustainable growth journey.

Keynote Sessions: Data Centers and Clean Energy Futures

The day opened with keynotes that set the stage for debates and discussions.

Nidhi Prasad, Regional Product Manager, Data Center Platform Business, presented “Harnessing AI Power Trends with Prefabricated Containerized Data Centers.” She highlighted how modular, ready-to-deploy systems are addressing the rising power demands of AI while ensuring faster deployment, scalability, and long-term efficiency.

Kevin Tom, SEA Platform Head, Power & Energy Solutions, followed with “Integrating Microgrids to Enable Low-Carbon, High-Resilience Data Centers,” showcasing how microgrids are paving the way for sustainable, resilient digital infrastructure.

Fireside Chat: Building Malaysia’s Digital Backbone

As Malaysia advances its ambition to become a regional digital hub, the fireside chat “Building Malaysia’s Digital Backbone: Infrastructures, Connectivity, and Cloud at Scale” examined the practical steps needed to get there. Speakers highlighted the country’s growing capacity in energy-efficient data centers, the rollout of a nationwide 5G backbone, and the rapid expansion of cloud infrastructure to meet rising digital demands.

The discussion pointed to the role of public and private investment in driving these projects forward, while also noting Malaysia’s opportunity to lead the green data center movement by pairing sustainability with competitiveness. Insights were shared by Tan Aik Keong (AK), CEO of Agmo Group, and Reagan Chan TY, Solutions Architect from a top global enterprise software provider.

Panel Discussion: From Grid Dependency to Grid Independence

Meanwhile, the panel “From Grid Dependency to Grid Independence: Microgrids and the Future of Clean Energy” explored strategies on integration of clean energy in Malaysia’s rapidly expanding data centre sector. Discussions covered the use of energy storage, PPAs, and novel renewable technologies to help accelerate Malaysia's aspiration in creating a more sustainable and resilient datacentre ecosystem.

Distinguished speakers included Aiman Hafiz Mohd Salleh, Project Development Manager at IB Vogt, Dr. Md Pauzi bin Abdullah, Director of the Institute of Future Energy at UTM, and Dr. Tee Wu Shun, CSO of Samaiden Group Berhad, moderated by Yue Zhi Law from Delta Electronics.

Product Showcase: Solutions in Action

The event also featured a hands-on product showcase where guests explored energy storage systems, cooling technologies, EV chargers, smart building automation models, and industrial automation innovations. These demonstrations highlighted Delta’s ability to deliver practical, scalable solutions that support more efficient data centers, cleaner energy use, and smarter buildings.

Delta’s first Solutions Day in Malaysia marked a significant step in strengthening partnerships and fostering innovation in Malaysia’s digital and energy transition. By combining thought leadership with practical showcases, Delta reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national agendas such as MyDIGITAL, the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), and NIMP 2030, to work smarter, greener, together.
